There has been a lot of traction to a recent study by Gil Greengross about using Self Deprecating humor to attract girls. He says “when it comes to getting a woman’s attention, humour is key. More specifically, that a self-deprecating (making fun of yourself) comic will often get steal the most heart”

Here’s the trick, and it’s the SAME thing can be said with magic. When someone can make us laugh at their own expense, they often appear more accessible. Women like this because a man who is comfortable laughing at himself appears confident, but not arrogant. Just don’t overdo it to the point that you’re lowering your social value. There’s a balance.

Nobody likes a ham, but laughter can be a wonderful icebreaker and can really help ease tension on a first date. Of course, when using self-deprecating humour, you run the risk of highlighting major personal flaws. Make her laugh, but don’t make her run. Keep your self-inflicted jabs quick, relevant, and superficial. Don’t troll for her approval with your jokes, just remember to keep it light and maybe mix it up with some cocky comedy (see David DeAngelo) Cute cracks about your mundane job, inability to dance, or eclectic music collection will make you seem more real and approachable without damaging her impression of your character.

You must however have a confident frame while to doing this. It will send just enough of a mixed signal to throw her.

Just like magic, do a little bit, do it confidently and even somewhat in a self-deprecating way…ala the “reluctant magician.”

Every girl likes to laugh, just not in bed. Every girl likes magic, but they don’t go home with the magician.

To learn how to use magic more effectively in your game with girls, pick up the PUMA Skills Mastery Course
