I had a chance to interview Bobby Rio, creator of
Conversation Escalation:  Make Small Talk Sexy

Since the topic of the program is creating more fun, flirtatious,
and “sexual” conversations with women- I figured I’d get some tips
out of him for improving your conversation skills and creating
attraction in women.

1.     What are some of the major mistakes guys make in their
conversations?

It’s funny…because when you finally figure this out- you’ll look
back and see that there were just a handful of tweaks you needed to
make… and these tweaks vary from guy to guy.

Some guys spend too much time trying to appear “cool” to a woman-
and wind up coming across as stiff and boring.  For these guys,
they need to learn how to inject some fun and playfulness into
their conversations.

Some guys tend to get stuck at a “friendly” level.  These guys need
to learn how to spot when there is “too much” rapport happening.
Attraction is a balancing act between “tension” and “comfort.”  And
a lot of the guys who get stuck at a friendly level are so afraid
of the “tension” that they spend way too much time building rapport
thinking it will make the woman like them.  – And it will… as a FRIEND.

Some guys have no clue what to say to a woman.  These guys need to
learn how to spot the hooks a woman is giving him.  Every time a
woman opens her mouth and says something it should be triggering
three or four things you can say back.  The problem a lot of these
guys face (and I suffered this for YEARS) is that they spend too
much time in their own head trying to think of what to say next.  A
woman will give you all the material you need.  You’ve just got to
learn to spot it.

But the biggest mistake most men are making is that there
conversation are one dimensional and flat.   This is because they
don’t have enough “weapons” in their arsenal.

Maybe they are comfortable at telling stories… so that’s all they
do.  Or maybe they spend the entire time asking questions.  Or
maybe they are funny -  so they rely too much on humor.

The fact is, you need to always have about five techniques you
“whip out” to keep the conversation flowing and EXCITING.  A
conversation should be like a rollercoaster- where the woman
doesn’t know what twist and turn will come next.

2.  How can a guy avoid awkward silences and “running out of things
to say?”

Ah… my biggest fear.

For me, I was more afraid of the awkwardness of having nothing left
to say- than I ever was of rejection.  In fact, if a woman openly
rejected me- I could take it.  What I couldn’t take was standing
there not knowing if I should keep talking to her, or give up.  I
hated thinking the woman was just being polite and really wished I
would leave.

But here is thing…

The easiest way to completely eliminate awkwardness is to
acknowledge it in a humorous way.

By calling out the “elephant in the room” and saying what you’re
both thinking… it demonstrates that you are socially intelligent.
And social intelligence is EXTREMELY attractive to a woman.

It’s sort of like if you’ve ever had a girl turn her cheek when you
went for the kiss.  The worse thing to do is pretend it didn’t
happen.  Because the both of you know you tried to kiss her- so
you’re not fooling anyone by acting “cool” about it.

Just say (in a mocking ‘announcer type’ voice) “And she slips him
the cheek”. This sort of humorous response will put you both back
at ease.

Women fear awkwardness even more than men do… so by showing a woman
you have enough social intelligence not to let things get awkward…
you become a lot more attractive in her eyes.

3. What are some of the important concepts and techniques that you
cover in Conversation Escalation Make Small Talk Sexy

Well, my goal with this program is to show you how to get your mind
to explode with things to talk about, that continues to flow so
that you feel more confident, natural, and relaxed- when standing
in front of a beautiful woman.

Now, in order to get you to that point, you’re going to have to
learn a few things.  And these are probably things you’ve never
heard before…because most of the “gurus” like to avoid the subject
of “small talk.”

In this program we are going to show you how to “steer” a
conversation along.   How to spot the “hooks” a woman is giving
you.  You’ll learn how to “bait” a woman into asking you about
things you want to be talking about.

You’re also going to learn how inject “sexuality” into a
conversation.  Because ultimately- you can have an hour long
amazing conversation with a woman- but if you don’t get her
thinking about you in a “sexual” way- it will be impossible to ever
kiss her.

force you to become a more attractive talker…  but more important
than the techniques, I’m going to teach you a “specific” practice
routine- so that this new way of communicating comes natural to
you- and you remember to use the information when it counts- when

We even have that infamous word “AMOG”, partly to detail how to shut these guys out for good and steal their girls right from underneath them.

I’m not saying it’s not possible, not by any means, at all. And plenty of women will cheat, and plenty of girls will leave the guy they are with that night for a smoothe talking and higher value guy. I think it’s perfectly fine for any man to do so, it’s not our problem to be concerned with after all.

"Keep telling yourself it's better than nothing"

Every guy knows exactly what “The Friend Zone” is and feels like.  It sucks and can feel like a black hole that you can’t get get out of to save your life.

You’re friends with a girl…maybe BEST friends (which makes it even harder) and you really enjoy spending time with this girl, talking, laughing, joking around.  Maybe you both started off as friends and the attraction popped out of nowhere…or worse, you were ALWAYS attracted to her but she’s never seen you as anything more than a friend.

You might as well have a vagina between your thighs because she doesn’t care what’s down there.

I’ve personally been in both situations and more often than not…found my way out of them.  (Quick tip:  the first piece of advice is to avoid the friend zone altogether by keeping a strong sexual frame and not letting her see you as a friend).

You don’t know what to say to her and you don’t know how to tell her you have feelings for her or that you want to get her buck naked and crazy.

You know she’ll probably be worried about “the friendship…the friendship…I don’t wanna ruin our friendship.”

Too bad baby…it’s ruined.  That’s because all you can think about is how her body feels while she’s going on about her day.  It will drive you crazy.

Here’s a piece of advice:

Your job is to attract her, not to convince her that she likes you. There’s a very fine line between the two

How you flip the attraction switch on a girl – friend is different than how you would build attraction with a stranger.

Friend 2 Lover

I just finished watching the movie Transformers 2 on pay per view.  It’s a rainy Sunday and I figured I’d glimpse back into my childhood favorite toys and an “adult” toy I wish I could play with…Megan Fox. 

It got me thinking about girls who are the hottest of the hot and how they’re portrayed in movies.  “Perfect” usually.  They’re hot, sexy and ultimately to the leading man, “available.”

It’s Hollywood’s job to make you identify with and to a degree, become the leading man in a movie.  It’s what sucks you in and gives you so much excitement.  It’s a subtle and sophisticated art to do this, but it works.

Since the leading man almost always gets the girl, it leaves you feeling like you should too.  (And you should always get the girl…but it doesn’t always happen like that does it.)

Even more though, the girl in the movie usually has her shit together, isn’t a basket case and is deep.  She responds to all the leading man stereotypes that the movie is portraying.

In reality…the hottest of girls are rarely the way they are in the movies.  In fact, often times they really aren’t the biggest prize at all once you get past the surface looks.

Often, the “hotter” a girl is, the more baggage and emotional issues she brings with her.  I don’t think this is some brand new revelation to a lot of you guys who might be reading this.

Have you ever heard of the saying:  “Show me a hot girl and I’ll show you a guy who’s sick of her shit?”

It kind of applies here.  Usually the hotter they are they more shit there is.  Why?  Because the world treats them different and attention comes very easy for them.  They often get spoiled and lazy when it comes to developing true compassion and real social skills.

Before you start to think I’m “hatin’ on the hotties” I want you to understand the point of this whole thing.

I meet a lot of guys who are utterly fixated on getting ONLY the smokinest hottest girl there is…and anything less is a blow to their ego.  They hunt and search and some of them even score…but it doesn’t last because they’re looking for something that only really exists in the movies.

The smart, hot, fun, caring, beautiful inside-and-out girls are rare.  They are very rare.  But guys get so damn nervous when they’re approaching hot girls because they have them on this perfect little pedestal…like if they can only score THIS girl, their life is set.

When they do get her, it falls apart because that girl has real issues like real people, and often times more.

The moral of the story here is to remember a couple things.

• The Hottest girls can be (often) a major pain in the ass.
• Do not put girls on pedestals until they prove they deserve to be on them.  This does not mean to not respect them…you should respect everyone until they do something to lose it.
• Don’t look past the good looking girls who aren’t perfect…they’re usually a lot easier and more fun than the supermodel types.
• Don’t be too nervous talking to the hot ones.  She is starting off so high in your book because of her looks, that chances are, she’s got nowhere to go but down unfortunately.  If she goes up after you get to know her…you may want to hang on to that one.

I’m not encouraging yout to settle for less than the best of everything in life, but I do want you to detach yourself from the fallacy that the hottest girls are the most valuable to have.  Looks can be deceiving.
