Do you like chocolate ice cream, or vanilla? Maybe you like a different flavor… Maybe strawberry or butterscotch… What does this have to do with meeting women? EVERYTHING!
You see, all women are different, because no two people are the same. Yes, we have the same instincts and the same sexual desires but our personal preferences are as different as grains of sand in the desert. (That’s why the saying goes that people are as unique as snowflakes)
All women don’t like the same food, they don’t like the same clothes… They don’t even like the same COLOR. So how can all women be interested in the same thing from a man? Think about it – Some women like funny men. Some women like cocky men. Other women like gothic men, jocky men or men of a certain race, age or financial status.
So approaching women with the same techniques for starting conversation, or even the same techniques when it comes to the bedroom is a losing bet… But it’s been our best guess to date! It’s like playing the roulette wheel at the casino, and only placing your chips on either red or black.
Yeah, you’ll win 50% of the time, and maybe you’ll get her a little attracted to you… But it’s better than playing the numbers in the middle where your chances of success are slim and you’re likely to lose your shirt. It’s not the best way to play the game, however, it’s the SAFEST way. With the skills you have know, it’s the EASIEST way to win.
This past weekend I ran what’s called an Affiliate Promotion for a new book by Love Systems called “The Ultimate Guide To Phone And Text Game” and I promised the members of my newsletter list that any sales occurring during that promotion were to be donated to Haiti earthquake victims.

Last weekend I hosted a big party and mastermind in Austin, Texas with some of the biggest PUA, seduction and dating experts in the world. Saturday night we all went out to J.Blacks on West 6th Street (See pic below) and I witness some awesome stuff.

Heard a great quote today. Get competent and then you’ll get confident. It’s true. Many guys go for confidence first…but they don’t realize that you have to suck at something first…then try and practice and eventually you become competent. Once you’re competent, confidence is a natural by product. Just thought I’d share that with you.
This has a more serious undertone to it because the inspiration behind this post has greatly affected me personally. A few weeks ago the world lost an inspirational speaker, educator, success coach and a man who has influenced more millionaires than almost anybody. You may not have heard of him, though if you’ve ever picked up a personal development book you’ve undoubtedly heard of Jim Rohn.
When I was in my early 20’s and really confused at what I was doing with my life, I found some Jim Rohn lecture tapes (yes tapes) and popped them into my car as I drove around. This man’s wisdom gave me a new definition and compass on success. Without him, my life may have veered down other paths because it was Jim Rohn who lit the fire of self-development.
Jim recently passed away and I’d like to dedicate this post to a few of his teachings and stories:

I have somewhat of a love/hate relationship with this video. This is why.
You’re going to see a guy in a club doing magic tricks…and they’re kind of cheesy tricks too. Who am I kidding. They’re REALLY CHEESY. Worse is the way he performs them. THIS guy looks like he’s trying really hard to pick up girls with magic…which “usually” doesn’t work.
He approaches with magic, he gets too excited, he introduces magic too soon and he comes off as smooth as the hair on an old french ladies legs. The thing is MOST guys who hear about Mystery doing magic tricks in clubs learn a few tricks and try them out on girls. Sometimes they find that it’s not that easy.
I created PUMA Skills to teach guys how to PROPERLY use magic, sleight of hand and mentalism tricks to work with women WITHOUT looking like the guy in this video.
That’s why I HATE this video.
Here’s Why I LOVE it…
…well, you just have to watch the reactions of the girls he does the bad tricks for and I think you’ll understand how magic can be like sex (or pizza)…even when it’s bad…it’s goooood.

One of the things I love about using magic with beautiful women is that single moment of transformation, which I call a spark, where a woman crosses the threshold from skeptic to amazement during a magic trick.
It’s similar to the instant when you’re telling a joke and people are listening, waiting for the punchline…anticipating something and almost in a defensive spirit…daring you to make them laugh.
With a well delivered joke, the punchline surprises them and creates an opening of laughter where they free themselves to laugh and be amused.
The same thing happens with magic.
Often times when you start a magic trick, especially a trick that requires some participation on the girl’s part, she will go into it hesitantly. She’ll almost be daring you to impress her. She’s in a cynical state of mind.
But when the “prestige” or effect is revealed there’s that single spark, that moment of astonishment where she really is impressed. Some girls go with the flow and some girls react the other way and just try to figure out how you did the impossilbe…and tricked her.
Either way, it’s one of the moments I cherish most as a Pick Up Magic Artists is when I get the girl to cross over that threshold into “wonder.” It’s that moment when real magic can happen.
I was out tonight and experienced that and I was very aware of what was happening with the girl’s attitude. The real magic is how she changed her entire mood. And this…is what PUMA Skills and impressing girls with magic tricks is all about.

Personally, I’m not great on the dance floor when it comes to club dancing…however, I am pretty damn good at swing and salsa. I have to thank 2 girls I’ve dated for teaching me the ropes there.
But when it comes to club dance floor game, I’m freaking lost. But I recently met Ryan, a PUA who teaches guys this particular niche (like I teach guys the “magic tricks for chicks” niche And he cleared it all up.
