Hey guys, David Black here, I’m that British dude from over at Social Masters . I want to tell you a little story all about the first time I realized just how awesome magic can be for attracting women.
Here’s the deal: I used to be a die-hard skeptic when it came to magic. I was all like, “It’s gimmicky, it’s cheesy, girls will laugh if you pull any of that crap, etc, etc.” I knew a certain (Really famous big-flashy PUA with his own TV show) used it, and apparently got great results. But coming from the UK, I always thought, “Nah… girls in this country are different, they have class. Try magic in front of them and you’re likely to get laughed at, and not in a good way.”
Boy was I wrong. Dead wrong. And I’m happy to admit it. 
Cos what happened totally blew me away…
Now I don’t want to upset my good mate Brad so I am going to whisper this… <cups hand to side of face> “It wasn’t Brad who opened my eyes.” Sorry Brad if you heard that . In fact, it was my good friend and partner in crime Preston Blain who first demonstrated the incredible effect that simple close-up magic can have on women.
I had forgotten how engaging magic can be. I remember watching it when I was younger and feeling awesome that people could perform the most amazing feats with the most bog standard of things. Not only that, but I had never experienced magic so up close and personal. Trust me when I say there is a huge difference between close up magic like Derren Brown or David Blain, and someone who is performing magic on television or the internet like David Copperfield or Paul Daniels (haha, “Debbie MaGee!”).
With television, whether it is big staged illusions or street magic, you have so many doubts. Is it trick camera work?, is there a double?, are there stooges? etc. It’s when you see magic right in front of your eyes you just become fixated by it’s wonder. What can you say when the person performing the magic is within touching distance? It blurs the line between reality and fantasy.
It’s was just a simple card trick Preston performed on a pair of girls in the bar. I cringed on the inside when he pulled the cards out of his pocket. I was thinking, ‘WFT, a deck of cards. This is gonna end in tears and/or flames, big time.”
He pulled off the trick, and the girl opened her hand and was totally gobsmacked (there’s no other way to say it), by the fact that she had been holding her card all along, or whatever, I don’t recall the exact details. They were like, “Oh. My. God.” Literally dumbfounded. I’ve not really ever seen as strong a reaction as that in all my adventures. Well, maybe when I flop out my C..But that’s another story entirely.
Bottom line. His Value to the two girls literally blasted into orbit. He was, for a brief moment there, like a god among men, right in front of their eyes.
Imagine making girls feel as though they were 5 years old again. Those days when life seemed so amazing, so much fun, simple, etc. If you could take them back to those days then surely they would be majorly attracted to you because you have made them feel totally awesome?
So at this point I turned to him and said, “Um, I would like to learn that please Mr Preston my good man.”
I had been won over by seeing these insane reactions. Magic takes people, and women especially, away from their boring mundane lives, and puts them into a scenario filled with wonder and excitement. Even just for a few minutes.
This creates huge amounts of value and attraction focused on the person performing the magic, from the girl who is on the receiving end. It’s like a thermonuclear attraction bomb set off right in their faces! How’s about that for a metaphor!!
So I’m sure you’ve heard this before. Open your mind. Don’t believe something until you witness for yourself. Avoid my mistake. Give magic a try. Let rip with those attraction warheads!
