There’s a few I love… I know you hate cards, but I don’t mind ‘em as long as I look like I just have them cause I always have them, and I’m not trying to impress anyone.
When they come to my place then after the “festivities” I’m usually sitting on the couch practicing cuts and such, and inevitably they’ll say “Show me a magic trick!!!” By that point I have no problem complying occasionally, so I’ll immediately flip the deck over and do a color change before they have any idea what just happened.
Next line is inevitably “DO IT AGAIN!” and then I can go into “What’s in it for me?” or “I’m not your dancing monkey!” etc. The hard part is a lot of the time she’ll continue to beg for hours to see another trick again, and I run out of funny excuses after a while.
Anything where I appear to read her mind is good, as are tricks where we touch a lot.
There’s one I use on hired guns on occasion:
Effect: The first night I meet her, she doesn’t know I’m a magician. I attract as normal, and get a picture with her on my cell phone. The next time I’m back, I bring some cards in my back pocket and casually mention that I’m a magician, or do a coin trick or something when she’s not expecting it to pique her interest. She then asks to see a trick, I resist but eventually “cave”, and then I pull out the cards and have her select one. She puts it back in the deck, and I tell her to close her eyes and mentally go back to the night we met.
If I know I’ve made a good impression, I ask her to describe the sights, sounds, and smells, to bring her sensually back to that moment as much as I can, and then ask her to imagine her card is there with her. I then ask her to open her eyes, and pull out my phone to show her “the craziest thing… this picture that we took 3 weeks ago… there’s something tucked under your t-shirt sleeve. It looks like… the 7 of spades…”
This is for use AFTER attraction is cemented. In other words, if she hasn’t enthusiastically agreed to go on a day 2 with you yet, this isn’t the right trick for you. But if she already likes you, this is one of those tricks that will make her like you a lot more, since it gives her a great story to go tell all of her friends about the cool guy she met at work.
I’m still working on the patter, so any suggestions on how to present it better would be welcome. I have only been into magic for about a year, so this is the first trick I’ve ever invented.
This is another card trick. I do think card tricks can be used but only in a certain way. If you carry around a deck of cards it will look like an entertainer. But there are ways to still look PUMA. You could either take the girl back to your place and just perform card magic there or you can bring a deck of cards with you and perform the right routine. Here is one that requires an invisible deck to perform. The invisible deck is a special gimmick deck that I have fooled many people with and has so many applications for its use. I highly recommend any magicians to get it because of its really strong effect.

I usually like to do this when I am either taking a girl with me to my place or if I am meeting a girl for the second time in the store they are working with. This routine is usually done to build a stronger connection with the girl.
You start off by saying to her, “you are not going to believe this……the strangest thing happened to me last night.”
“What happened?”
“Well I had a dream that the two of us were in a Vegas casino and I was playing poker. I had you next to me so the other poker players would stare at you in the sexy dress you were wearing. Well with one of my hands you kept on telling me that I should play that card. You kept saying it over and over in a very bratty childlike manner. I woke up a little bit after that and I still remembered that card so I grabbed a deck of cards and found the one you were pointing to and flipped it over.”
At this point you would take out your invisible deck.
“Unfortunately I forgot what card I flipped over because that how dreams go, so how about you tell me what card you wanted me to play.”
“I don’t know”
“Well how about you just name a card on the top of your head”
“Nine of clubs”
I then proceed to take the cards out of the deck and begin to look through them and find the only card that is face down. I then ask them to take the card and see what it is. They will freak out when they see that it is their card. Now there is two ways I like to go from here, I could either say “Wow, I guess that means that you are the girl of my dreams then”
or you can neg her and say “Well, you are a girl and you were in my dreams. You know what that means”
“What?” or “That I’m the girl of your dreams”
“No that your a witch. Admit it, you are trying to subconsciously seduce me so it will be easier to get into bed with me. Well it did not work. you are going to have to seduce the pants off of me in real life now.”
magicman that is frikin genius! the tricks kills by itself but i love that patter and presentation. anyways i love to do the floating dollar bill, if you do it right they can’t explain it, but it’s also far from impromtu. A few others are an absolute coin vanish, reunited- which is a torn and restored match, 5 dollar window, and coin bend. brad i appreciate you revealing the coin bend and some other videos, but honestly your sleight of hand sucks dude. i know PUMA isn’t about great sleight of hand; it’s about doing easy and dynamite magic without looking like a cheesy magician, but you can do better than that.
